Vantage Point has already developed plans for the new facilities which will involve a joint investment with London General Insurance of over £1million to house a call centre and other support functions at Mitcheldean including administration, finance, claims and many other specialist insurance functions. More than 30,000 sq ft of office and support space is being provided for London General Insurance with additional infrastructure facilities including high quality secure communications and IT connections.
London General Insurance expects to establish operations at Mitcheldean during the first quarter of 2008. Recruitment fairs, organised by Parklife, for call centre staff and IT, finance and administration vacancies were held at Vantage Point, Mitcheldean on 27th, 28th and 29th September and at The Golden Valley Thistle Hotel, Cheltenham on Thursday October 4th.

250 jobs come to Vantage Point Business Village at Mitcheldean
Vantage Point Business Village at Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire has been chosen by London General Insurance, European underwriters for The Warranty Group, as the new office base for operations which are being relocated from Harrow, Greater London to Gloucestershire. This latest move is expected to bring more than 250 jobs to Mitcheldean and increases the total at the Business Village to more than 2500 with more than 80 employers on site.
