Tecvac Limited, a member of the Wallwork Heat Treatment Group, has more than 20 years' experience of a variety of advanced coating methods, including physical vapour deposition (PVD), ion implantation and plasma processing.
Tecvac builds PVD coating equipment to specification as well as providing a comprehensive subcontract service which includes heat treatment, ion implantation and other surface treatment and hard coating technologies.
Based at Swavesey, near Cambridge UK , Tecvac's facility now includes a variety of highly automated processes that use the Sub-One HCPIIP technology to apply DLC coatings to a variety of internal surfaces including aerospace parts, oil & gas system components, and specialised medical devices.
Tecvac is one of three major units of the Wallwork Heat Treatment Group. Tecvac Ltd provides an ultra hard coatings and integrated heat treatment service covering DLC, Titanium Nitride, Chromium Nitride and a variety of other high performance ceramic and carbon-based coatings. It also undertakes specialist vacuum brazing.
Heavily involved in coating research, Tecvac also designs, builds and supplies production PVD coating machines and research machines for PVD, carbon coating, plasma processing and ion implantation and is a partner in a number of pan-European collaborative research projects on ultra hard technology.
Tecvac operates 24/7 with complete nationwide logistics support and and meets recognised quality and process accreditations for Rolls Royce and BAE Systems, and ISO 9000/2000, BSEN 9100 and NADCAP.
