Two more promotions at Mitcheldean
Following Martin Scrivens' promotion to Learning Development General Manager at TWG's operations centre (London General Insurance (LGI) Company Ltd), Martin Turner has been appointed as Section Manager.
Martin Scrivens, from Mitcheldean, originally joined LGI as Section Manager from Ecclesiastical Insurance in November 2007 to lead a team for one of their major creditor clients, Allied Irish Bank and its subsidiary, First Trust Bank. An exciting opportunity arose which led to his appointment as General Manager for the Learning & Development department at Mitcheldean. "My new role in Learning and Development," explained Martin Scrivens "is to support all staff in developing and extending workplace skills. This includes training, relations with local education, staff communication, and community relations. Our policy is to provide the best possible learning at work environment to help all our staff succeed ".
Martin Turner, from Northleach, was recognised as the person to fill the vacant Section Manager position and he now heads up the team of 12, who provide customer service for the creditor products offered by Allied Irish Bank and its subsidiary, First Trust Bank. He originally joined the section as an Associate in November 2007, after graduating from the University of Gloucestershire. In 2008 he already demonstrated his potential with promotion to Senior Associate. "My main task," he says, "is to ensure the staff are happy and to motivate them to provide an exceptional service."
Both Martin Scrivens and Martin Turner are active and enthusiastic football players. Martin Scrivens plays for Mitcheldean, whilst Martin Turner, is in his first season with Bourton Rovers, both of which compete in the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League.
