Arrow Medical Ltd will  feature  the complete range of contract medical manufacturing services  on Stand 5c at the Medical Innovation Forum, Olympia, London,  25 June 2008.

Arrow Medical’s manufacturing services extend from silicone injection moulding, textile processing and radio frequency welding to complete clean room assembly, contract packaging, and full logistics support for the sterile supply chain. Complete products are manufactured to ISO 13485 and FDA GMP standards for cardiology, anaesthesiology, vascular systems, emergency trauma, and breathing equipment. Arrow’s services include design support and production engineering, with more than 15,000 sq. ft. of production facilities at Kington, Herefordshire, UK. Advanced quality systems support the whole manufacturing process, with batch sample verification, life testing, and frequent auditing to meet the highest clinical standards. Products manufactured at Arrow Medical’s Kington site exceed the current medical manufacturing standards in a high quality, secure environment.  Arrow has recently doubled clean room assembly capacity, which extends capability to 2,500 sq. ft. The silicone moulding facilities use the latest silicone and elastomer moulding techniques, including both LSR injection moulding and compression moulding, supported by local sub-assembly and metrology to ensure efficient and reliable production.

Arrow Medical can cut, sew, weld, bond and glue textiles, to be assembled in complex forms, to meet requirements in emergency care, orthopaedics and wound management. Radio frequency (RF) welding enables the production of inflatables, bags, pouches, and many other flexible, biocompatible products or components that hold air, special gases and/or liquids in ‘leak-free’, impermeable or permeable environments.

Arrow Medical processes have FDA approval and BSEN ISO 13485:2003 accreditation to cover all manufacturing processes, right up to full delivery of finished medical device products to sterile supply chain. This covers all clean room manufacturing processes, product assembly, packing, and associated logistics.
